Ido Shacham - Real Estate Tax Solutions

Ido Shacham is an attorney and real estate appraiser with over a decade of experience in advanced property tax solutions; winning appeals and saving clients in a variety of tax situations involving estate sales, family status changes, inheritance, new immigrant benefits, combination deals, Tama 38, “Pinui Binui,” representation against the Israeli Tax Authority, and more. Ido Shacham offers full-service, real estate tax and legal consulting and support for investors and anyone involved in a real estate transaction.

Our mission is to find the best possible solutions for property owners in order to have them pay the lowest property taxes allowable under the law. Ido’s professional legal expertise and appraiser background enable him to analyze whether a property’s assessment is overvalued. Using outside-the-box solutions, he works hard to procure a reduction.

Ido Shacham has over ten years of real estate taxation experience; seven years working for the Israel Tax Authority as a real estate appraiser, district appraiser, and real estate appraisal superintendent. After leaving the Tax Authority, he worked as an attorney and real estate appraiser for an international accounting firm, in which he planned and executed some of the largest investment transactions in recent years. Ido currently lectures for many official organizations and academic institutions, including the Israel Bar Association, Bar-Ilan University, Ben-Gurion University, the College of Management and Business, Israel’s Land Appraisers’ Association, and the Israel Tax Authority. He represents the interests of the Israeli public as Tax Committee chair for the Real Estate Appraisers Association.  He is also a Board advisor to SolidBlock, advising on taxation and regulatory requirements in the blockchain and security tokenization space. Recently he joined the international organization Foundation for International Blockchain and Real Estate Expertise (FIBREE) as co-chairs of the Israel region.
