Full Bio:

Ido has over twelve years of experience in real estate taxation in Israel, including seven years in the Tax Authority in various positions, including real estate appraiser, district appraiser, real estate appraisal superintendent, etc with an exemplary employment experience both as an attorney and a real estate appraiser with an international accounting firm. The experience includes planning and executing some of the largest transactions in recent years.

As an advisor to SolidBlock, which successfully raised $18 million last year in a campaign centered around the tokenization of the St. Regis Aspen Resort property in Colorado, I am aware that fractional real estate may be a small part of the industry today, but it is also an area which holds tremendous growth potential as well as many ramifications, small and large, for conventional stakeholders.  The tokenization of real estate is emerging and growing at the intersection of real estate investment and the blockchain, next-generation database technology with built-in security for heightened investment protection.

My expertise stems not only from these developments in asset tokenization but also from my background as a leading lawyer in real estate and taxation, including seven years with the Israel Tax Authority, and my deep and thorough understanding of tax law and finances, including international investments and financial instruments, I currently lecture at numerous academic institutions including the Bar Association, Bar-Ilan University, Ben-Gurion University, the College of Management and Business, Israel’s Land Appraisers Association, and Israel’s Tax Authority, as well as served in an advisory role for several government bodies.
